Don, I think you might be on to something. The problem is, like you said. There is no demographic data attached to individual videos.

Say there is a website, like YouTube, that asks for users demographic data. If a user likes a video and they vote for it, or they comments on a video, that video gets attached to that users demographic data. On a mass scale advertisers can populate their ads on videos that they think clients would watch.

Okay... user-generated content IS very profitable. Youtube has created the "Partners" program to allow advertisers to sync up with relevant, legit user-generated channels. It can be done! :)
