There is no discussion here. Just a monologue.

This video ads nothing more that a podcast with a picture.

So what if its his opinion? Does it matter what his age is?

1) Apple did/does a better job with the interface (touch screen) - others follow.

2) Apple hasn't/won't stand still and will continue to innovate and improve the iPhone - along with the followers.

3) it's tough being number one - after what? A year and a half in an entirely new market for Apple?!

I look forward to the new and improved apps and iPhones coming to market.

I use a Blackberry at work and I love it. But we just got funding to support the iPhone - due to DEMAND.

I own an iPhone and I want to say that I love it. This wasn't out of conformity, this was out of my realization that the iPhone will do the things that I want it to. This does not mean that the Blackberry doesn't do it (but tragically in Canada our providers are POS), making iPhone the obvious and logical choice.

Apple has been, is, and will continue to be a leader in making great technology available to the mass market and reasonable (stretch!) prices and average support. The touch screen changed the way the market views the cell phone (Instinct, HTC Touch Diamond, N95 to name a few have implemented the same technology).

But let's take a step back and pretend that Apple never really did release the iPhone. What state would the cell phone market be in? Who would have been the mold breaker? My bet would be Treo (or at least Palm perfecting what they first started to do in their palm pilots).

Suffice to say, this cell phone market would not exist if it were not for Apple. It's not unreasonable to say that we would not have a high-quality touch-screen phone on the market today had it not been for Apple to release a near-perfect touch screen to begin with for other companies to attempt to mimic.

iphone is a great device i wn one in india if any one wants to beat it they have to invent something new instead of copy i think so there is where the industry needs to focus originality of design instead of copying any thing like they nokia did with n95 first 5 megapixel powerhouse dual slider even motorola had something great with razr series these products can capture the imagination of consumers.
