Patent brainwashing in elementary schools (???)

by Matt Asay

Alas! The terrible things they're teaching my children in schools these days, probably funded by Microsoft's OnMyWay program!

I went to visit my son's class today, and discovered that they had been submitting proposals for patents, their teachers clearly no fans of innovation.... :-)

Oh yeah gawd forbid the kids should learn about the real world instead of some OSS fantasy land. Your kids better know what patents are...even if you don't agree with the principle.

Learning about patents and getting your kids to think about novel ideas is bad? Wow, Matt. Really?
