The CNET test was the MOST worthless POS. First off, it wouldn't matter if osx was slightly faster because imacs have ****** core 2 duo's which is 3 year old technology and slow. Sure some pc's have that, but you can also get core i7 if you shop around and it's faster. I have a 3.6ghz i7, 1TB Hard drive, ddr3 and it BLOWS away any typical mac. And it only cost $800. My cinebench score was 17,300 compared to the mac in that test of roughly 5500. The point is I have a choice. And windows 7 runs rock solid and is great! But his test loaded everything through bootcamp which caused the tests to vary by 6% in some cases. What a joke! I know bootcamp is supposedly native, but it isn't not exactly as fast as if you just boot a normal pc. I did some bench marks where I let windows load normally (no boot camp). Both windows and osx got to load the way they wanted to. And those scores where well within 1-2% of leopard. In some cases beating it. I have both osx leopard and windows 7 and must say that windows 7 is so improved that I like it more than osx. Sorry, but Apple is going to have to work harder to catch up now.
