The solution to get off of Oil is a Solar Transfer. The technology exist today. Stanford simply needs to find the best way to deploy a Solar Transfer in the fastest manner. The research has been done. A private think tank has the answers and they will be released in a Energy Manifesto. More info can be found on the web and on display on Jan 20th, 2009.
