More Google Phone rumors

Google will unveil its long-anticipated plan to bring its software to cell phones within the next two weeks, The Wall Street Journal reported late on Monday citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

The "Google-powered" phones are expected to make it to market by mid-2008, possibly from Taiwan's HTC, South Korea's LG Electronics, Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile USA, France Telecom's Orange SA and Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.'s 3 U.K., the report says. In addition to the ad-supported phone services bundling Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail, the operating system would be open to developers to build additional features.

Google executives have declined to comment on rumors related to the Google Phone, which has been reported on extensively this year.

Google executives have complained that carriers have locked up the market and stifled innovation in the U.S. telephony market. They may bid on 700MHz wireless spectrum, Chief Executive Eric Schmidt said last week at Google Analyst Day.

Bring it on, already, I say.

Update at 11:00 a.m. PT, October 30: Reuters is saying that France Telecom is denying being in talks with Google.

Free service for ads?

Would you download an Adsense ads application that would show
you ads in betweens/during calls to get free service, even on the

T-Mobile

Word around the blogs is that Google already has a deal in the works with T-Mobile http://www.newsvisual.com/newsvisual/2007/10/google-and-t-mo.html . Do you think the G-Phone will be successful? The iPhone has been a success, but Apple knows about making products. Google doesn't really make anything, and now they are going to jump into the telecommunications industry?

I don't have any imformation about is there any google phone or not?...as far as other google searvices are concerned, I am under knowledge.
