Microsoft has overhauled the look of its Live.com search page, part of a series of changes expected in the coming weeks.

While the first visible changes are to the user interface, fonts and look of the Live.com search page, the bigger changes are coming to the engine itself, as well as the way Microsoft presents results. (Props to the folks over at Liveside.net for spotting the changes.)

Microsoft has scheduled a press event, dubbed "Searchification," for September 26 at its Silicon Valley offices, where it is expected to tell all.

But we'll keep watching to see if more details squeak out onto the Web. If you see more changes, let us know.

very similar to Google's page now
by yottabyte21 September 18, 2007 4:14 PM PDT
which is a good thing, considering i am trying to move away from Google's services, but it is nearly impossible. you have to keep a gmail for things like www.blogger.com, www.grandcentral.com, and www.dodgeball.com. But I'm surprised that there hasnt been massive media coverage on the fact that basic Hotmail accounts now have 5 Gigs of Storage. Which is nice, but i already paid a year for Hotmail plus. which gives you ten gigs and you can have attachments up to 20MB

The way Microsoft copies everything wreaks of desperation.

They are more irrelevant than you realize...
