We can finally put all the rumors to rest--the Palm Treo 755p is real, and it's officially arrived on Sprint's doorstep, looking all dapper in burgundy or midnight blue, might we add. The 755p will be available starting May 14 and replaces the older Treo 700p. The Palm-based smart phone not only sports a more compact form factor similar to that of its GSM cousin, the Treo 680, but it also brings a collection of small but notable enhancements--instant messaging and Google Maps for Mobile, just to name two. But are the extras enough to warrant the expensive $280 price tag? Read our full review to find out, and click on the image to the left to view our photo gallery.

I am looking forward to seeing how the iPhone performs. I will
eventually need to replace my cell phone and from what I see thus
far I am leaning towards an iPhone over the Treo.

I would need to change providers if I go with the iPhone. Currently I
am with Sprint, but I have AT&T for landline and DSL so I may be
able to get a good deal on a bundle. I am not in too much of a
hurry so Apple may bring the iPhone to other providers before I am
ready to make a purchase.
