CNN became the subject--not just the reporter--of news on Tuesday when a woman was gunned down just outside of the network's Atlanta offices.

CNN reports that two people were shot and that the second person might be the gunman who first shot the woman. The newsroom was evacuated during the commotion following the shootings, the news of which is currently featured prominently on CNN.com.

Update: CNN now reports that the woman has died from the shooting. The man who apparently shot her was then wounded by security officers.
