Vonage infringed Verizon patents
Jurors in Virginia ordered Vonage to pay $58 million plus monthly royalties to Verizon Communications for infringing on three of the company's patents. Verizon filed a lawsuit against Vonage last year accusing the IP telephony service provider of infringing on seven of its patents. Vonage plans to appeal the decision.
