No antivirus updates today for ZoneAlarm customers

Zone Labs' Web site was down for much of the day on Friday, preventing users of the company's popular ZoneAlarm security software from updating their antivirus definitions and accessing support forums.

In response to our query, Zone Labs spokeswoman Allison Wagda told us that the company had a "a misconfiguration of our policy server and they're working to try to re-establish our old policy settings to bring it back online." The problems should be fixed in a few hours, she said.
