Bad news from the bears

European bears have bad news for us. They don't hibernate any more. Scientists in Spain report bears are now staying awake all winter long.

Research indicates the warmer winters and lighter snow means bears in the Cantabrian Mountains now stay awake all winter, and find plenty to eat. Scientists say this is just one more effect of global warming.
