Larry King is celebrating his 49th year in broadcasting this year, but he shuns the Net and has never used an Internet search engine.

During an interview with comedienne Roseanne Barr that first aired Nov. 14, King talked about the relevance of the Internet after Barr said it was the only viable political medium.

The Internet, King said, has "80 billion things on it" and "I've never done it, never gone searching."

Barr responded by saying that, if King knew what to look for, the Internet is great. "It just takes your mind and then you live in there forever. You can never come out," she said. "It just opens up the whole universe. It's so awesome. You would love it."

"No, I wouldn't," King responded. "The wife loves it. I wouldn't love it. What do you punch little buttons and things?"
