GameSpot gives sneak peek at new 'Zelda,' 'Madden '07'

by Jennifer Guevin

If you're dying to get a look at the new Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, head over to our sister site, GameSpot. For the next hour or so, their intrepid game reviewers will be playing the game on the new Nintendo Wii, viewable online via a live video feed.

Check it out to help stave off your Zelda cravings while you wait for the game's official release (set for November 19 for the Wii, and a bit later for the GameCube). But backseat gamers, be forewarned: this is a first look at the game in the truest sense. We all know how maddening it can be watching someone else play a single-player game. Your patience may be tested while you watch our friends struggle to figure out the signature Zelda puzzles (such as how they can catch a fish and get the cat to go into the fat lady's store so Link can get his slingshot. Aaargh!). Still, it'll give avid Zelda fans a feel for the gameplay (not to mention get used to Link's new look).

They just spilled the beans that they'll be playing Madden NFL '07, as well as giving the Wii a backward compatibility test, after this.
