Even a sex scandal over communicating with underage boys can't make newly-ex Rep. Mark Foley sign off of AIM, according to liberal blog The Huffington Post. HuffPo has posted a screenshot that appears to show that Foley's now-infamous screen name "Maf54" is still online. Or, at least it was as of 9:15 on Tuesday morning (presumably Eastern time).

This reporter would like to know what kind of IMs Foley has been receiving since the scandal broke on Friday.

Caroline McCarthy, a CNET News staff writer, is a downtown Manhattanite happily addicted to social-media tools and restaurant blogs. Her pre-CNET resume includes interning at an IT security firm and brewing cappuccinos. E-mail Caroline.
