Technology to display in a museum
Readers of this space may know that we have a fondness for unusual art, whether it be an amazing microscopic sculpture or a project devoted to tiny people on the streets of London. So we were particularly fortunate to learn of Junkfunnel Labs, a collection of work that combines art and technology.
Some of the pieces present amusing or clever ideas by artist Casey Smith, such as the "Technology Detector" or the anonymous "Phantasy Phone." But other projects bear social commentaries on the darker aspects of modern life, as do his "Terror-o-meter" and "Suspicious-Looking Device." Either way, we like his stuff.
