A fish-controlled robot

by Mike Yamamoto

Debates about evolution notwithstanding, some people apparently can't wait for aquatic life to travel on land.

That's one theory, at least, behind the Terranaut--a "robotic exploration vehicle art project" that supposedly puts a fishbowl on wheels, rolling in whichever direction the little critter is swimming in, according to this LiveScience post. A YouTube video is provided as proof for the skeptics out there, but we can't vouch for its authenticity.

If nothing else, perhaps this can be used as a marketing pitch for troubled Segway.
