On Tuesday Engadget reported that a clever tipster had located a Zune price on Wal-Mart's Web site. On Wednesday fellow tech blog Gizmodo dug up a different piece of Zune news: The device will be Windows-only at launch. Its "Zune Marketplace" will require Microsoft's operating system as well.

As Gizmodo points out, many iPod-toting Mac users won't mind too much--except the ones who are still bitter that the new round of iPods doesn't come with Wi-Fi.
