iKaraoke puts you on lead vocals
Ever have the niggling feeling you'd sound better singing that Ashlee Simpson tune than she does? Peripheral maker Griffin Technology has come up with an iPod accessory that lets you find out.

The iKaraoke, due out this winter, is a compact microphone that plugs into your iPod. Flick a switch and existing vocals fade into the background, leaving instruments and backing vocals intact. iKaraoke sends the music--along with your performance--to your stereo system for the world to enjoy (or not, as the case may be). It hooks up to your stereo via line-in cable, or wirelessly through your FM receiver.
Fortunately for the vocally challenged, the product includes features to enhance performance: three levels of reverb to blend vocals and accompaniment and make you sound your best--or at least better, hopefully, than the pop star you're trying to outdo.
