Quote of the day: Republicans are just 'yapping'

In a story about how the recent Hewlett-Packard scandal is breathing new life into all-but-forgotten anti-pretexting legislation, a California Democrat is among the activists frustrated by the related political stalemate.

"They're not doing anything but yapping, hoping that the American people won't notice," said Rep. Zoe Lofgren. "And they're in charge of the House, the Senate and the White House, and they're not producing very much."
