When your Xbox 360 blogs, and doesn't tell you about it

by

If you'd like to give your Xbox 360 a little bit of personality, and creating your own games doesn't do it for you, maybe you should consider letting your video game console start a blog. Really!

Washington Post writer Mike Musgrove has detailed his experiences with 360 Voice, which distributes a software widget that lets your 360 blog away, thanks to the wonders of automated posting. When you play a game, it'll post your progress. And when you don't play, it'll post remarks about how annoyed it is that you're ignoring it.

No word yet on whether the 360 Voice software is versatile enough to post entries such as, "Just because you got eaten in 'Dead Rising' again doesn't mean you need to kick me," or "Maybe next time you shouldn't use me as a plate for your Pop-Tarts."

Or, the big one: "It's been nine hours straight. Shouldn't you be going on, you know, dates or something?"
