Nokia to open NYC flagship store
Finland-based cell phone manufacturer Nokia will be opening its second U.S. flagship store on Sept. 9 in Manhattan's midtown shopping district, just a few blocks south of Central Park. Currently, Nokia has flagship-store locations in Helsinki, Hong Kong, Moscow and Chicago.
The three-story shopping destination--yes, that's right, three stories of cell phones--will feature not only Nokia's products but also its blinged-out Vertu handsets and compatible peripheral devices.
Nokia addicts: The grand opening is 8 a.m. at 5 East 57th St. (at Fifth Avenue).
