Samsung courts amateur shutterbugs, serious gamers
Attention amateur photographers and serious gamers. Samsung wants you to buy its new 19-inch LCD monitor that displays close to 100 percent of the NTSC color range. That, Samsung wants you to know, is waaaay better than typical LCD monitors that display a mere 82 percent.

The SyncMaster 931C features a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1280-by-1024-pixel resolution, a 2-millisecond response time and a pretty reasonable price tag of $299.
If you plan on venturing to Monza, Italy, for the 2006 World Cyber Games this October, you'll probably get a chance to preview one of these before buying since the 931C has been dubbed the games' "official monitor."
