Burning Man, all mashed up

We're way too old for Burning Man or even its lesser offshoots, but we're not too old to experience these foreign rituals at least a little vicariously. Perhaps most surprising of all to us is how organized such free-for-all events can be.

Susan Mernit's Blog, for instance, points to this Beatmaps page that features a detailed mashup of events listed by venue, performer, location, category and other information. Judging by the names of some of the festivities, we think it's probably wisest for us to keep staying home.
