Xbox-Scene reports receiving a tip--from someone who has seen it with their very own eyes--that a version of Microsoft Xbox 360 in the works has a motherboard equipped with a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port.

The post asks a lot questions: Will it come on all versions or just the top-of-the-line model? Does this hint at an HD-DVD drive? And, of course, will this ever actually come to fruition? The post gives few answers, but it does note that those who shelled out for the current Xbox 360 might feel a little gypped if a version with more bells and whistles debuts any time soon.
