Microsoft confirms Massive acquisition

Microsoft entertainment and devices unit President Robbie Bach confirmed Thursday that Microsoft is buying Massive, a company that specializes in serving up ads that appear inside video games.

Announcement of the deal, which was reported last week by the Wall Street Journal, was timed to coincide with the advertiser conference, which ends today.
