Yahoo names new managers

Yahoo on Friday named Ash Patel chief product officer and Qi Lu to senior president of engineering for search and marketing, according to a Wall Street Journal posting written by Dow Jones Newswires (subscription required).

Patel, who will be responsible for global product strategy and development and will report to Chief Operating Officer Dan Rosensweig, according to the Journal. Lu will report to technology chief Farzad Nazem, the Journal said.
