Cursor-shaped mouse gets to the point
We all know it's not polite to point--unless, of course, you're using the cool-looking Mus2 mouse from the Art.Lebedev Studio out of Russia. The ever-inventive Art.Lebedev is probably best-known as the maker of the much-hyped mini OLED Optimus keyboard.
The cordless optical two-button Mus2 not only controls the cursor on the screen, it looks like one. Compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, it comes in black and white and operates from a distance of about 6-1/2 feet. An in-mouse power indicator handle lights up only when the AAA batteries are low or need to be replaced.
The product ships in June for $60 (it sells for $40 before May 15), and despite its unusual shape (separate right and left click buttons align vertically), the creators insist it fits neatly in the hand and doesn't cause any ergonomic problems.
