I can't drive 55...unless you do, too

Some young Atlanta drivers have really pushed the limits--not of the 2-ton masses of technology they were maneuvering, but of their fellow drivers' patience.

To "make a statement" about the 55-mph speed limit, they did something unseemly. And they did it on the highway, side-by-side, at rush hour, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

They....gasp...drove 55. In return, they naturally received an array of creative expletives and happy hand gestures. And they probably made everyone in Georgia late for work.

Much hubbub ensued among CNET e-mailers surrounding the validity of the kids' speed-limit statement and the road rage experienced by many here who merely imagined being stuck in such a massive, moving parking lot. And people think San Franciscans are a laid-back bunch...try being a pedestrian on Market Street when folks are trying to get to work.
