Public radio sues Gore's Current TV

According to the Associated Press, Minnesota Public Radio is suing Al Gore's Current TV on trademark grounds, saying the TV station risks confusion with the radio network's "The Current" music station online.

According to the lawsuit, Current TV changed its name from IndTV four months after the radio station registered its own trademark, and after the radio station was launched. The TV station has said that there are many businesses with the word "current" in their name, and that there is little chance of confusion.
