Meet Mr. KentuckyFriedCruelty.com

by Mike Yamamoto

Regardless of one's opinion about animal rights advocates, they can never be accused of taking their cause lightly. That's certainly the case with a 19-year-old vegan who formally changed his name to "KentuckyFriedCruelty.com" to protest the fast-food chain's treatment of chickens.

The teenager, formerly known as Chris Garnett, has named himself after a Web site run by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, better known as PETA. He is protesting "KFC's refusal to eliminate the worst abuses of chickens raised and killed to fill its buckets."
