Home safety technology: Smart slippers

It is the official policy of Blogma to never (almost) endorse any commercial product, and we always avoid even linking to them (sometimes). But some are simply too good to resist--such as these slippers with built-in headlights.

"Now you can easily walk 'hands free' in darkened areas," according to the manufacturer's brochure. "Step out of the slippers and the lights go off after a delay of a few seconds, allowing you time to return safely to bed."

Between this and the Clapper, what more does one need?
