Watching the space shuttle liftoff online

The best place to watch the scheduled launch of the Discovery space shuttle this afternoon may be in front of your computer.

There's a better-than-even chance that weather will delay the launch. But if it takes place, you can see it live by tuning in to Yahoo News, which already has begun to air NASA's video streams. (Click on "Live - Shuttle launch countdown.")

The launch is scheduled for 3:51 p.m. ET.

Also, FOXNews.com is offering a "live stream of events" from Florida's Cape Canaveral starting at 2 p.m. ET, with CNN following suit an hour later.

The video feeds may be scratchy and low-res, but they're still arguably better than locations even in the same region of Florida: storm clouds may block the view for many area residents.
