Clothe your iPod, wear your iPod

by Michelle Meyers

To clothe the iPod or to clothe yourself with the iPod--that is the question, at least when it comes to some of the latest accessories for the digital music player.

For those who like to dress up the iPod, why settle for iPod socks when you could fit the music player in a snug pair of jeans. FabriX, which makes a line of iPod cases with inner quilt padding, is now offering a hip denim version. iPodStyles.com sells the jean case for $25.

And for those who'd rather incorporate the iPod into their own wardrobe, Japan-based Tunewear recently introduced a line of clothing with see-through iPod pockets.

Tunewear is just one of several manufacturers incorporating special iPod pockets into clothing. Other examples are jackets designed by Burton Snowboards and more recently, Spyder, according to a recent CNET "Crave" survey.
