Link wrestling: The Olympics' newest online sport?

Everyone knows it's hard to qualify for the Olympics, but should it be as tough to link to Web pages hosted on its Internet site?

Apparently, this year's Olympics organizers think so. According to these instructions, folks who want to hyperlink official Athens 2004 URLs need to write a letter notifying the organization of their intentions and to abide by several terms and conditions. Links deemed inappropriate are subject to requests for retroactive removal.
