Oh, oh, oh! This is sure to tick off Steve when he find's out. Oh, oh, oh, my. android in the living room.

No wait, he's doesn't even realize it's there. He's too focussed on dissing Apple, making the iPod Killing Zune, and "improving" their search third placer.

Boy, oh, boy, oh, boy, by the time he's figured out what's happened to the living room and NetBook space, he's going to be so annoyed again and blow another couple of billion to eke out market share, just as someone else will be working on the next big thing, which they'll totally miss again.

"Android, which is an open source operating system, was originally designed by Google for mobile phones."

come now.. isn't the jig up? At the very least, GOOG was stealthing Android through the conduit of phones, but isn't their original intention clear by now? Once you hold an Android device like the G1, you realize its just a tiny computer, to which one might attach a larger screen, keyboard, etc..

It very much is the Google OS, let loose upon an unsuspecting world, gathering massive beta development activity.

The 411 on early-termination fees

Verizon Wireless has doubled its early-termination fees for smartphones, but what does it mean for the rest of the industry?

Google has its own plan for Netbooks

No, the search giant isn't saying it will build a Netbook. But it sure knows what it would like one running Chrome OS to resemble, and that's a little different from the Netbook of today.
