The New York-based startup Wander announced Tuesday via blog post that it would join Yahoo, with its five-member crew joining a growing fleet of Yahoo mobile engineers in New York.
Looks like the Wander team is already drinking the Yahoo Kool-Aid. "[We're] excited to announce that we've accepted an offer to bring our work on daily habits to Yahoo," the startup wrote in its blog post, referring to Yahoo's oft-repeated mantra of providing people on the Internet tools for their "daily habits," like e-mail or search.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but TechCrunch has reported the number to be north of $10 million. Yahoo declined a request for comment about the price tag.
