Don't worry, it's just a small Google outage

Users had trouble accessing the search giant's services for a few hours today.

Google search had a brief outage today.

Google suffered a outage this afternoon, but it doesn't appear to be very widespread.

A Google spokesman said a "small percentage of our users have had issues accessing some of our services for a few hours today." He didn't specify what users and services were impacted but said the company has worked to restore access as quickly as possible.

Search and Hangouts appear to be a couple areas impacted, according to a Mashable report.

Of course, Twitter users started posting as soon as they had problems. Here are a few of our favorites from today:
