LAS VEGAS--ViewSonic announced its new series of Windows 8-certified touch displays. The TD40 series consists of the 23-inch TD2340, the 27-inch TD2740, and the 32-inch TD3240 monitors. Nokia has unleashed a massive lawsuit campaign against HTC, RIM, and Viewsonic.

The mobile phone company said today that it has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) against HTC, and a host of lawsuits across the U.S. and Germany against Research In Motion and Viewsonic, in addition to HTC. Nokia argues that the firms are violating a total of 45 patents.

Intel will step in to help smaller companies build ultrabooks, as the chipmaker continues its push to make the new supper-skinny laptop category a success, CNET has learned.

Viewsonic will begin shipping a tablet later this month that runs both Windows 7 and Android, the company said today.

Aimed at business users, the ViewPad 10pro runs Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" as an application on top of the Windows 7 operating system, according to Viewsonic.
