Content network Glam Media announced on Thursday that it has acquired AdaptiveAds, a company specializing in the targeting and optimization of display ads. Glam Media claims that its acquisition of AdaptiveAds will help it solidify its offering in the advertising market. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Glam did say disclose plans to open an office in Mumbai, India, as part of the acquisition.
With small MP3 players being all about the flash memory these days, it's interesting to see one crawl out of the water with a hard drive instead. That's what the German company TrekStor has done with its new "Vibez" player.
Yes, it's an appalling name that deserves to be beaten with the wet end of a severed limb, but once you get a look at the specs you may regret dismembering anyone for such a purpose. (Crave US thought the same thing when it surfaced originally, though CNET Reviews found a few flaws.)

I do like the fact that I can download music from Napster and not just iTunes. While I am a bit skeptical, I would certianly consider this for myself and others as gifts for birthdays and just-because days. Check it out!
The Vibez looks more like a case for Prada sunglasses than it does an MP3 player. And considering how many of the devices are on the market, that's not a bad thing if you want to get noticed.
