Temple Run 2 players can add a bit of Christmas spirit to their gameplay.
Released this week for iOS and Android, a holiday update to the death-defying running game brings Santa Claus down the chimney. You now can play the role of Jolly Old Saint Nick as you try to escape the giant ape, dodge and weave your way past obstacles, and collect gems and other treasures to build up your score.
Other surprises await. You can wend your way down a waterslide as you try to avoid fallen trees and other hazards. The game also promises Christmas artifacts that … Read more
We suppose it makes sense that a champion runner would star in an endless-runner title, and who better than six-time Olympic gold medalist and record-breaking Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt? Imangi Studios, maker of the massively popular Temple Run games, has just announced that it has signed the athlete on as its very first branded playable character for a "limited time" only.
Bolt joins the game's cast of fictional characters as a 99-cent in-app purchase available from the game's "Upgrades" menu, wearing his signature yellow-and-green Olympic uniform. He also brings with him a new power-up, "Bolt." When activated, the character auto-dashes at breakneck speed, immune from the game's traps, with the coin magnet. … Read more

Passing time playing games with your smartphone or tablet requires applications that are quick to learn and fun. Temple Run's excellent graphics and easy-yet-satisfying gameplay make it a good option for casual gamers.
Temple Run comes as a free application, but payment is required for additional power-ups. Installation through the Google Play store completed quickly, and there were no log-ins required to play the game. The startup menu's graphics are well designed, as are those for the game, itself. The selection to start a new game was easy to find and well labeled. In terms of play, the … Read more
At first glance, it is not immediately apparent what Secure Temple does. The app is created without interface in mind. It lacks clear directions, has multiple unmarked menus, and doesn't even describe what the function of the app is supposed to be (unless you read the description in the App Store). That alone is enough to frustrate and chase away most users. However, behind the obtuse design and stark menus there is a tool that can be extremely useful for anyone that creates and stores large volumes of passwords, secret keys and other number strings on their iPhone or … Read more
Temple Run Oz (iOS | Android) is another movie-themed version of the mega-popular running game, but just like Temple Run Brave, the developers managed to add enough original content to make it worth your money.
In Temple Run Oz, you play as Oz while attempting to outrun the evil flying baboons from "Oz the Great and Powerful." Like Temple Run 2, you'll need to swipe to jump, turn, and slide under obstacles and you can tilt to move Oz from side to side on the path. But with this themed remake, the scenery has been completely redesigned to … Read more
I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore, at least not in the latest Temple Run game.
In Temple Run: Oz, you play the role of the Great and Powerful himself as you travel the Yellow Brick Road trying to outrun flying monkeys, avoid dangerous plants, and jump over or slide under an array of obstacles.
With more than 100 million downloads, Temple Run is one of the most successful mobile games of all time. So, there were big expectations for the sequel, released in early 2013 by Imangi Studios. Touted as a refinement and not a revamp of the classic formula, Temple Run 2 is sleeker, faster, and more attractive than its very popular older brother, all to great effect.
The game handles very much like the first. Your character runs automatically and you must swipe up, down, left and right to avoid obstacles and turn. You can move the iPad or iPhone to tilt … Read more
Temple Run addicts have propelled its sequel into new territory.
In 13 days, Temple Run 2 has been downloaded more than 50 million times by iOS, Android, and Kindle users, developer Imangi Studios said yesterday, making it the fastest-growing mobile game ever.
In reaching this milestone, the action game topped the previous record holder, Angry Birds Space, which rocketed to 50 million downloads in 35 days.
Temple Run 2 places you in a jungle where you have to outrun a giant ape, leap over chasms, and swing on ropes to get past hazards. Along the way, you pick up gold … Read more
