Your vote could change Facebook's privacy policy

It's time to vote on Facebook policy, expect changes in Motorola, and give thanks in five words:

Within the coming days, expect the chance to vote on Facebook's privacy policy. Facebook recently made an amendment stating that if it announces a policy change and 7,000 users write comments on that announcement post, then Facebook has to put it up to a world-wide vote. Activists from the website our-policy.org encouraged people to post comments on a recent change, and it worked: more than 47,000 comments poured in, so its expected Facebook will open the change to … Read more

Samsung Brightside coming to Verizon March 1 with dim specs

It seems Verizon hopes to lure current feature phone shoppers considering real smartphones into buying the $100 Samsung Brightside. Is my device Ice Cream Sandwich-ready?

As new Android handsets like the HTC Rezound are announced in the wake of October's Ice Cream Sandwich show, the question on everyone's mind is whether they will see the 4.0 release.

Of course, it's a very fair question. I mean, who wants to buy a phone that's not going to get the latest and greatest from Google? We know about the Galaxy Nexus, but as with most Android updates, the outlook is unclear for other devices.
