Indie movie makers Adam Hamdy and Shaun Magher are bringing a full-feature comedy film to the Xbox Live -- exclusively.

The film, "Pulp," premiered today on Xbox Live. The comedy follows Tony Leary, a "nice-guy owner of Junk Comics," who assists police to help them bring to justice a gang of "Geordie criminals" who want to use another comic company to launder money. And while there isn't a whole lot in the way of new of extras that are different from what you'll find on the two-disc Collector's Edition DVD, you do get a set of new retrospective cast interviews … Read more

Copy machine is your personal Kinko's

A lot of innovation in scanning technology has been in the 3D department, but Germany's Zeutschel has stuck to the basics with ink on paper. And at least in one regard, it's paid off.

If the "Omniscan 12000 BookCopy" isn't the top of the line where copying machines are concerned, it's got to be close, scanning at a rate of a page per second. Unlike traditional face-down copiers, this one works with an overhead camera so you don't have to worry about the paper's position on the glass. And if you do … Read more
