BOSTON--World of Warcraft developer Blizzard Entertainment today announced HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft, a free-to-play collectible card game for PC, Mac, and iPad.

Gamers can sign up to beta-test the title today. The beta will launch this summer, with the full game due out sometime in 2013.

Rumor: Motorola 'Pax' to bring dual-core, QWERTY goodness to Sprint

In late June, rumors started to fly that Motorola and Sprint were working on another portrait QWERTY Android device, and now, there's even more evidence that such a handset exists.

Last night, This is My Next published new images of what's being called the Motorola "Pax." Though we originally thought it might sport a slider design, the Pax looks to be similar to the Motorola XPRT with its slate design and touch-screen/QWERTY combo.

The big difference between the Pax and the XPRT is that the Pax is said to feature a dual-core processor and support for Sprint's new CDMA-based push-to-talk-service.

Not much else is known about the smartphone at this point, but we'll be keeping our ears and eyes open for more information.

Earlier this summer, Sprint and Motorola announced a renewed effort to bring more innovative devices to market together and promised to launch more than 10 new devices in 2011. Recent releases include the aforementioned XPRT, the Motorola Photon 4G, and the Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile. … Read more

I played on two different platforms, the PS3 and the Wii. The games are very different. For the … Read more

Duke Nukem Forever to see light of day after all

After well over a decade of "development," 2K Games announced today that Duke Nukem Forever will actually see the light of day. The publisher went on to say that Gearbox Software has taken the reigns on the project, rescuing it from development limbo after the game's original studio 3D Realms went under. Gearbox Software is responsible for titles such as the recently successful Borderlands.

The game will be on display at this weekend's PAX 2010 convention in Seattle, where press and gamers in attendance can have a go at the title 14 years in the making. … Read more
