Not only does IE9 not suck, it even rocks out a bit

The bottom line: Internet Explorer 9 is surprisingly competitive across the board. Zippy browsing speeds, minimalist layout, and innovative features make this not only the best version of IE to date, but will catapult Internet Explorer back into the browser wars. First Take:

After several months of teasing Internet Explorer's upgrade with a series of feature-free developer's previews, Microsoft has unleashed on the world an Internet Explorer 9 beta (32-bit Windows 7; 64-bit Windows 7; 32-bit Windows Vista; 64-bit Windows Vista) with some impressive new features. Microsofties love this site...but not for long

I was playing around with Google Analytics and stumbled upon some interesting data for this blog. Those who search "Matt Asay" in Google and end up on The Open Road are predominately from Microsoft (or, at least, that's how the data looks - who else lives in Bellevue, Redmond, and Mercer Island?
