Crazy Lights is a deceptively basic game for iOS devices that involves touching the appropriate colored dot in response to the cue the game gives you. It couldn't be less complicated, but that doesn't mean it's not a challenge -- quite the opposite, in fact.
Crazy Lights is actually eight games in one, but you can't access five of them until you provide feedback on the app. The first three games are enough for you to form an opinion, and we're betting that that opinion will look something like this: this is hard! The first … Read more
Ubisoft's Ubi Art engine, which allows hand-painted art to be transferred directly into a game, has tremendous potential, and we've been waiting with bated breath for Child of Light, a single-player or cooperative two-player fantasy adventure about a fairy princess who wields a giant sword.
Ubisoft has announced that the game will be available as a digital download for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PCs starting April 30.

BARCELONA, Spain -- Transmitting wireless data using radio waves is so old fashioned -- in the video above, you'll see the technology that sends data via light, and could stream Internet video to your TV from a light in your ceiling.
The system works by attaching an Ethernet-wired ceiling-based device to a standard LED light. The data about to be beamed through the air is sent to that bulb, which is instructed to flicker millions of times per second to communicate a signal -- kind of like an extremely speedy morse code.
The light signal -- which looks identical … Read more

For the rest of us, the bulbs will retail for $19.97 … Read more
So it's the weekend and the empties are starting to pile up. Somebody is going to have to take a trip (or many) out to the recycling bin. Then again, somebody went through a lot of trouble, time, and expense to produce all those bottles. Sure, it makes transporting the beer or wine (OK, fine; soda too) a lot easier than not, but still, it seems a shame to see them broken at the bottom of a recycling bin. Especially when they would look so much better on the wall.
It might take a while to accumulate 99 bottles … Read more
If you're seeking an affordable Android phone on T-Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy Light is a serious choice. There's nothing flashy or even particularly interesting about a this 4-inch, entry-level smartphone that just looks like a slightly mutated Samsung Galaxy S3. Still, its 4G LTE is pretty fast, the screen is bright and colorful, and Samsung has filled it with many of the software extras you come to expect on its phones.
Its $240 all-in price puts the Light at the bottom end of the price range, which is exactly where it belongs. It isn't the least expensive … Read more
