LAS VEGAS -- Portable Bluetooth speakers have flooded the market in recent years but British electronics maker Damson thinks its new devices have an edge. The company announced two wireless soundmakers at CES 2014 which automatically adapt to ambient conditions at the press of a button.
Called the Jetstream Midi and Jetstream Large, these products connect to smartphones and laptops via Bluetooth to belt out music and other mobile-based audio. What sets the gadgets apart say Damson is their ability to sample ambient noise levels then adjust the character of the audio they produce accordingly.
