Consumers in San Francisco can now order groceries and other items via AmazonFresh.
Already available in Seattle and Los Angeles, the online grocery shopping service will now let SF residents chose from among 500,000 different items for free same-day and early-morning delivery from Amazon. Buyers can order fruit, vegetables, and other food items as well as electronics, appliances, toys, and automotive items, among other products.
Amazon even sells food from local shops and restaurants. Delivery is free as long as the order tops $35.
