Great Scott! 'Back to the Future' game debut trailer

Though it's not as blasphemous as talk of Justin Bieber supposedly playing Marty McFly in some ill-conceived "Back to the Future" remake, the fully licensed video game does seem like a promising extension to the classic story of Marty and Doc Brown.

Motorola Debut now on Sprint Nextel

Motorola first debuted the, uh, Debut i856 for Boost Mobile early last month, and now it has brought the handset to Sprint Nextel as well.

Touted as the first slider phone to feature Nextel's push-to-talk technology, the Debut also has multimedia features like a 1.3-megapixel camera and a music player. You can also switch from a push-to-talk call to a regular voice call. Aside from the carrier difference, the Nextel Debut is the same as the one for Boost.

Motorola debuts the Debut

Motorola and Boost Mobile have just announced the Motorola Debut i856, the first slider handset to supports Boost's push-to-talk service.

It also features a 1.3-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, e-mail, a microSD card slot with support of up to 8GB, and a handy 3.5mm headset jack in case you want to use our own headphones. The Debut will cost you $170 without a contract, and is available now.

Rumor: Sony to debut PS3 Slim on August 18 in Germany

No sooner had we written about reports that Sony would be dropping its 80GB PS3 in Japan on August 9, that two more PS3-related news items surfaced.

A Belgian blog, RTLinfo, is reporting that Sony will soon be lowering the price on the European version of the PS3 from 399 euros to 299 euros (that bodes well for a $299 version of the U.S. PS3).
