It now reels in 5 billion video views a month -- imagine the entire US population sitting down to stream Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball." Fifteen times over.
Vevo is in 13 countries, and it's on multiple platforms like Android and Samsung smart TVs -- and it just added one more.
On Tuesday, Vevo joined a short list of online entertainment ventures on Chromecast.
NEW YORK -- Time Warner Cable incoming Chief Executive Rob Marcus said the company this week will add another platform to the list that can access its TWC TV app, which enables subscribers to stream live channels and watch videos on demand.

In the spirit of Black Friday, Google is offering shoppers credit if they buy the Chromecast video dongle within the next week.
Between Friday and December 7, a Chromecast purchase will get users a $6 credit on Google Play that can be used for an HD movie rental or anything else in the online store. The credit cannot be used toward a discount on devices or subscriptions -- it's only for items $6 or less.

There's no need to pay the iron price to get HBO Go support on your Chromecast, as Google announced on Thursday that Chromecasts will begin supporting HBO Go in the next few days.
The update brings HBO's popular breadth of shows and movies to Chromecast via the Android and iOS Chromecast apps, and the HBO Go Web site, to any TV with an HDMI port.
